मेहनत is a story about struggle, hard work, and chasing your purpose.
The gamcha, found in almost every Indian household, is the hero of this story.
We’ve taken the gamcha and denim jeans and brought them together as one piece, something we proudly call the मेहनत JEANS.
Materials. Raw 14 oz denim, distressed and reconstructed by hand. Gamcha checks woven cotton panels. Metal button, metal zip, and the word 'मेहनत' embroidered in Devanagari at the back pocket.
Fit. Wide straight leg, mid rise, worn in from the first day. True to size, take your usual. Between sizes, take the smaller for the intended drape.
These jeans are made in small numbers and ship from Mumbai and Pune. Each pair has been manually distressed differently.

A solid shank button at the waist, finished in antique metal. Left plain on purpose, built to outlast the denim.

Woven gamcha check panels set behind the side zips. The fabric of the worker, built into the leg.

MEHNAT EMBROIDERY
The word for labour, in Devanagari, stitched at the back pocket. Worn with pride.

Denim, remade
Made from raw 14 oz denim, then broken down and rebuilt by hand. Every pair will wear in differently, because everyone wears their jeans differently.

A silhouette made for everyday life. Wide through the leg, comfortable at the waist, and easy to move in.
CARE
Only when needed
Wash them when they actually need it. Cold water, inside out. The more you wear them, the more they become yours.
